Tracking Your Progress
Credit repair takes time. Sable helps you track your progress, monitor your disputes, and see how your scores change over time.
Overview
Credit repair is a marathon, not a sprint. Most disputes take 30-45 days to resolve, and it often takes multiple rounds to see significant improvement. Sable helps you track every step of the journey.
Your Dashboard
The Sable dashboard gives you a comprehensive view of your credit health:
- Credit Scores — Your current scores from each bureau
- Score Changes — Points gained or lost since last import
- Active Disputes — Current disputes awaiting results
- Negative Items — Items still on your report that may be disputed
- Round Progress — Which round of disputes you're in
Dispute Statuses Defined
Every dispute you send through Sable is tracked. Here is what each status means:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Letter generated but not yet marked as sent. |
| Sent | Letter has been mailed. The 30-day investigation clock starts when received. |
| In Progress | Bureau is investigating. Awaiting results. |
| Resolved - Deleted | Success! The item was removed from your report. |
| Resolved - Updated | The information was corrected (e.g., balance updated) but not removed. |
| Resolved - Verified | The creditor confirmed the data. The item remains. Time for Round 2. |
Understanding Rounds
Sable organizes your disputes into "rounds" to keep your strategy organized.
Round 1 (Initial)
Your first set of disputes. Usually targets factual errors or requests standard verification.
Round 2+ (Follow-up)
Sent only if Round 1 is verified. These are more specific ("Method of Verification", "Escalation").
Progress Reports
After each import, check your Progress Report to see:
- Total items removed
- Net score change
